01Who it’s for

Starting out, or starting again.

  • Secondary school students

Subjects, JAMB, what comes next. Talk to someone who has done it.

  • University students

What to study is one question. What to do with it is another.

  • Young graduates

First job, first city, first salary. Get advice before the big decisions.

  • Career changers

Starting again is not starting over. Find someone who made the same move.

02How it works

Pick a mentor. Send the message. See what happens.

  1. 1

    Tell us where you’re headed

Your field, your skills and where you want to be. It takes about five minutes.

  2. 2

    Choose who to ask

We suggest up to ten mentors who fit. Read their profiles and send a short note to the ones you like.

  3. 3

Meet when it suits you both

When a mentor says yes, pick a time from their calendar. Sessions are online, shown in your own time zone.

03How we suggest a mentor

What goes into a suggestion.

Every mentor gets a score against your profile. You always choose. A suggestion is a starting point, not a decision.

04Since 2013

It started in a room in Agege.

In 2013 our founder, Adedotun Adesina, ran a small career event for young people at Ijaiye Medium Housing Estate in Agege, Lagos. We have run events in Lagos ever since. The mentoring here is the same idea, open all year.
